The fuel consumption of 6.6L/100km for Preve is based on 90km/h constant speed highway driving whereas the 9.1L/100km of the Suprima S is based on a combine cycle of both highway and city driving. For Preve this figure used to be around 8.7L/100km.previously but it was not declared in the brochures so the 9.1L/100km of the Suprima S is only a marginal increase. If we state the fuel consumption for the Suprima in terms of 90km/h constant the figure would be 6.9L/100km which is just slightly higher than the current Preve



The difference between sweep method vs ISO method luggage volume measurement is that in sweep method, the luggage volume is calculated by measuring how much fluid can be filled inside the boot which includes every single creek and corner whereas in ISO method, the volume is calculated by measuring the maximum cubic capacity of the boot via (height x  width x length) so this would result in a smaller figure as the volume of all the small creeks and corners is omitted via this method. Both these methods are calculated with the rear seat in normal unfolded position.



The small silver canister located in the engine bay is actually an Electric Vacuum Pump (EVP). The air cond in the current Exora CFE and Preve CFE is not so cold during stop and go traffic currently due to the fact there is insufficient engine vacuum for the Brake booster which forces the ECU to disable the Air- cond compressor monentarily to allow the brake booster to have sufficient vacuum or else the brake pedal would become hard which is very dangerous. The brake on the Exora and Preve therefore have no issues but the cabin cooling by the air conditioner is compromised a little which causes passengers to feel a little warm. To avoid this problem, the EVP is used to supply additional vacuum to the brake booster whenever there is insufficient engine vacuum so that this time around the ECU does not have to shut down the air-cond compressor and this in turn ensures the air conditioning inside the passenger cabin remains cold all the time.
